Long nails are amazing no doubt but there are some that make me wonder what the goal is. What I mean is, some length is fantastic but over a certain length they just look wrong. At least to me that is.
I saw someone with very long nail the other day. Somewhere in the 4 - 5 inches range. It looked wrong. Yes they were painted and well manicured but the length was off putting.
I understand everyone has different likes and not everyone will like the same. After all it's our differences that keep us interesting right?
Maybe it's just that I'm not used to the ultra length. Maybe the more exposure to them I have the more I will be inclined to like them.
I suppose the one advantage of the ultra long nail is you have more surface area with which to do art on.
At this point I have to say I'm not a fan if the ultra long nail. Maybe that will change. Time will tell
You KNOW I'm not a big ol fan of some super long nasty nails so I say good for you with this post!! I think even when they get like half an inch past the fingertip they start to get ewy. I actually HATE the feeling of long nails so that's a major problem for me too. People can grow their nails as long as their little hearts desire but I don't have to like em! :) I hope people didn't think I was being too bitchy on Twitter tonight. If they did.... :) Better be sweeter next time. Haha.
